Still Blonde

So thanks for the opinions on my locks. I am pretty foxy with brown hair...but I stayed blonde. 

Its a lighter blonde with a dark peek a boo underneath. Looks pretty good and I have a little of both blonde and brown. 

As much as I love the brown:( I think I cant beat the blonde. (take a look at my arm hair!) anywhos it looks good. But I think I will always struggle with the decision.

No Fun in the Sun

So obviously this is not me, but uh doesnt it look so wonderful! 

I wish I was in that very spot every day (looking that good too wouldn't hurt),

Well being that relaxed was the idea I had a couple of days ago. So I live in AZ its hot right, duh. Its the middle of summer and I finally found a pool to spend a few minutes in and lay by. My goodness it felt so good. So relaxing. I could almost imagine my self on the beach in Oahu again. Mmmmmm.

Until....I got home.  

I had only been out for about 45 minutes and in the water most of the time. Of course I would get out and lay by the pool to get a little sun. I got maybe 15 minutes of direct sunlight. 

Now normally this amount of time would only enhance the freckles on my face and shoulders. But apparently when you're preggers hormone increase and the lack of time in the sun takes its toll. I am so red! and so mad! 

I usually wouldnt get this red unless I was laying out directly for an hour, no water trips. But unfortunately I underestimated the whiteness of my skin. As some of you know my mom is hispanic, however I got non of it really. I have the german coloring from her side and the english whiteness from my dad. Which equals...really really white. 

Needless to say I am taking it easy, No gym:( no anything really. Just lots of time being a pregnant lobster. 

And no worries no harm done to Mr. Nixon. He is still rollin around and kickin up a storm. Though he does really like it when daddy puts ice cold hands on my belly.

Blonde vs. Brunette

So my dilemma of all dilemmas, blonde or brunette?? Last year I went to the dark side. At first it was not good. It was dark. And by dark we're talking black. It had to be that way I guess because of the drastic change from blonde to brown. Buuut after a while it looked good! Really good. I loved it! Buuut after a month maybe longer my roots came in and what do you know, the dark roots that came in when I was a blonde were now coming in blonde as a brunette. I cant win. Still I kept it dark. Then after a while I went back to blonde only because everyone said my blonde roots looked to funny and b/c I had been a blonde my whole life and people were having separation issues. 

Soooo here is my issue, what do I do? Stay blonde or go dark again? What looks better? Please give me your opinion!!! Dallas says either but he likes me blonde...for the most part. How do I make a decision based off of that? So opinions please!

Exercising and Pregnancy

Ok. For any of you who really know me know that I have separation issues with the gym. So when contemplating pregnancy, I always thought that I would appreciate the "break" from the gym. Well now that there is a bun in the oven its a negative on my appreciation of a break. I have found that I miss the gym and long for my hard core runs and sweat sessions. Don't get me wrong I am still there about 4 times a week. But even those days that I take off are not great. I just don't feel as good on the days I don't go, as the days I do.  

Well, as much as I love it, working out is getting harder. (you can imagine right) As Nixon gets bigger, I get more tired and not to mention sore. (Thanks relaxin). I truly admire those women who do triathlons while carrying a bundle of joy in their uterus. Im just hopin my gym addiction and good intentions will help me bounce back quick. (Dang you Ashlee Simpson) Cause this big belly thing is fun but, uncomfortable.

As you can see, pregnancy to post baby, Ashlee looks amazing and I kinda love her look. I know she is Ashlee Simpson, not the coolest, but I love the hair and the effortless look. Oh if only I could pull of the hair and had a hollywood life:).

All New Stuff!!

It is now June and I have not updated this thing in quite sometime. Not that you all are just dying! But I don't know maybe some of you are. We will go with that. Since I last entered something A lot has changed, especially in the belly region. I have gotten pretty big. Not huge, but huge by my standards. I am not used to having a belly get in my way when I have to stand up, exercise, and basically in anything I do through out the day and night. Nixon is a big healthy boy. He is moving so much now and has found several ways to cause me pain. (the bladder punches, pushing my liver into my rib cage, and shoving himself in the bottom of my tummy, which he is currently doing now). He likes his daddy the most though and kick anytime he is near, But will stop the second Dallas puts his hand on my belly. I tell Dallas he is on his best behavior when dad is near. 

I am now 25 weeks and 4 days. So I'm getting there. I have tried to really start preparing for the actual birthing process, but I have found I cry at anything to do with labor. I know everything will be fine, it is just all so unreal and impossible to me. Dallas and I have registered  at Babies R Us and Pottery Barn Kids(for the nursery set, so cute. Plan to use it with all the kids). Dallas has spent countless hours researching car seats and strollers and I think we have decided on the Britax Chaperone.  Its brand new. We have been given several little outfits and books, But we are looking forward to our showers and any help we can get. 

In the middle of all this baby growing stuff Dallas and I are also moving in with his parents (Wayne and Jill) Yay! This is an attempt to pay off big ticket items we have and put more money away for a house. It is the best for the future:) (just repeat that to me anytime I have a melt down k). So needless to say we are busy folks. But very happy! Now if only I had a pool or an ocean.

Soooo I have decided to be brave and take pics of my belly just so ya'll can oogle at how big I am. Honestly, I feel huge and I think I look huge. But after taking these pics I looked at them and thought that I don' t look that big. But I put these pics in succession so its does look like I am getting bigger by the minute!
